Reality viewers opt for The Voice and Masterchef over House Rules

The Voice and Masterchef shared the honours in Tuesday night’s reality ratings battle, while House Rules continued to struggle.

The second outing for Ten’s Masterchef slipped slightly to 913,000 metro viewers after Monday night’s debut of 1.06m viewers. Sixth for the night in all-people, Masterchef was most watched program in the advertising-friendly demographics of 16-39 and 18-49.

But Nine’s singing contest The Voice won the night with 1.108m viewers, according to OzTAM’s overnight preliminary metro ratings. It also topped the 25-54 demographic.
