Red Dog: True Blue drops to tenth place in Australian box after just one week
Australian family film Red Dog: True Blue has slipped into tenth place in Australia’s box office numbers, raking in $933,669 over the weekend.
The prequel to the 2011 film Red Dog, which is also directed by Kriv Stenders, tells the story of Red Dog, his origins and his owner before he became an Australian legend.
The first film, Red Dog, brought in $10.5m in its first month. The prequel has so far earned $5.173m after performing well during the holiday period, according to the Motion Picture Distributors Association of Australia figures.
