Telstra and content creation agency Red Engine have developed a series of 360 degree videos in a move to put consumers “directly in the centre of the action”.

The move comes as Facebook announced overnight it too will start rolling out the technology.
Stars from the world of sport and the arts including Jarryd Hayne, Tim Cahill, Paul Gallen, Adam Goodes, Dimity Azoury and Kate Moloney all feature in the Telstra videos that will be hosted on Youtube.
Looks fantastic!
Doesn’t work on Safari.
Pretty out there stuff – especially for Telstra of all clients.
Guys… it does work… and it’s very good. You MUST however watch it through YouTube. It’s a just released channel featuring the 360 algorithm techie stuff. Google is going to have to bring it natively into Chrome I guess..
To those interested – the Youtube 360 functionality currently works on Chrome and Firefox on desktop and on Android phones as far as I’m currently aware, though the landscape is changing pretty quickly.
To view on iOS, you’ll need to pull up on the youtube app and it should work fine.
So you have to jump through all those hoops to be sold something
Amazing !!!!….congratulations to all involved
