Retrenched 10 Daily staff go out in style

Dr Mumbo takes no joy in any fellow publisher closing its doors or putting away its keyboards. So he was, like many, shocked and saddened at the imminent closure of Ten’s digital platform 10 Daily.

Yet, it seems the staff are taking it in their (sassy) stride. One day before closing, and thus one day before most 10 Daily staff are out of a job, the publisher has put out an article titled ‘Exactly what to wear to your redundancy meeting (aside from a look of despair).

And while redundancies and their associated meetings (or Zoom calls) are no laughing matter, there’s no denying it’s a situation many across adland are facing right now.
