Rhys Ryan hired to head corporate communications for Porter Novelli

PR agency Porter Novelli has announced it has hired Edelman New York’s senior vice president Rhys Ryan to head up its corporate communications practice in the role of managing partner in Australia.

The move sees Ryan return to the agency where he began his career in Melbourne more than 10 years ago, with Peter kent, Porter Novelli Australia CEO saying: “We’re delighted to have Rhys back home, and especially back home with Porter Novelli.

He worked at Porter Novelli for seven years in corporate positioning and consumer marketing in Melbourne and New York, before being appointed general manager at Edelman Melbourne, and then landing the job of senior vice president for Edelman in New York.
