Sabra Lane leaves AM after nine years
Lane gave her listeners a few minutes' notice of her departure
Sabra Lane is leaving ABC Radio National current affairs program AM after hosting the show for nine years.
Lane told her listeners this morning she was moving on from the show, saying her “body is saying ‘enough'”, after hosting AM through three electoral cycles. She called presenting the show “a dream come true”.
“Dear listener, thank you for sharing your mornings with me, I’ve kept you in the forefront of my mind while framing questions, in interviewing political leaders and in trying to explain this crazy world we live in,” she said.
