Sam Mac leaves Perth’s 92.9 for east coast
Perth radio presenter Sam Mac will leave the Today Network’s 92.9 after three years behind the mic.
The presenter known for his ‘pisstake humour’ and gotcha calls will return to Sydney after his last show on December 2.
A busy schedule has seen him juggle radio in Perth as well as regular appearances on Ten’s 7pm Project as both the Perth’s Friday ‘whip around’ correspondent and occasional guest presenter on the Melbourne desk.
Mac has not yet solidified a Sydney posting. He told Mumbrella: “I’ve signed with Profile Talent Management and we’ve been working closely. There are a few bites but nothing I can confirm. I think there are a few opportunities and now that the announcement is out there that should increase.”
Who?
Leave Perth alone. One night I spent a month there.
Sam’s great value. He’ll do well in tele and radio.
What’s wrong with his neck?
A radio “jock” thats known for “gotcha calls” and “Pisstake humour”?
we must have a shortage of those on the east coast
