Sami Lukis is the new voice on Mix106.5 drive as Becks quits Ant & Becks show

ARN has announced late this evening that the former co-host of Triple M breakfast show The Grill Sami Lukis is to share the drive time slot on Sydney’s Mix106.5 and Melbourne’s Mix101.1 with Ant Simpson.
Lukis replaces Anthony “Becks” Toohey, who has just quit as co-host after a two-year stint on the Ant and Becks drive show.
Interesting combination. Like Sami – lets hope it does well.
I am going to miss becks so much. I have listened to An at and Becks since they started. I always looked forward to the drive home, laughed so much. I know Sam has been on before but dont think i will listen now. Will miss Becks so much but wish him well
Good luck to Sammi. She is a down to earth woman and I really love listening to her. Keep up the good work loved you when becks was ill. Hope he does well in his new career.
I loved listening to Ant and Becks and will miss the combination. I don’t mind Sammy but she seems a little awkward. Hopefully that will disappear with time. I do love that they are both single and focus a fair bit on the dating world for 20- 30 somethings. Good luck to them.

Loved Ant and Becks combo. Don’t listen to station in the morning anymore due to ladies show being annoying. When Sami and Ant play clips, I again change stations. Please keep your show separate from morning show or will change completely. Good Luck
