Water buffaloes which escaped in Sydney were part of Samsung ad shoot

Water buffaloes that broke free from their handlers this morning in Sydney’s inner west were filming a Korean ad for Samsung.

Images and videos of the two animals roaming the streets of Newtown were shared widely on social media. It is not clear which agency was responsible for the shoot, although Leo Burnett Sydney has told Mumbrella it was not involved, and it was a shoot for the brand’s booming Korean market.

Instagramer sopha_chest shared a film of the animals running down the street.
