SBS Board gets a referesh

The Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) Board has seen two new appointments this morning, with Vic Alhadeff as a non-executive director and Christine Zeitz assigned deputy chairperson.

The announcement was made official this morning by Minister for Communications, Urban Infrastructure, Cities and the Arts, Paul Fletcher. Zeitz has been a non-executive director on the board since 2018, while Alhadeff is a new member.

Alhadeff has a long history campaigning against racial violence, as well as leading a successful campaign for legal reform on violence based on race, religion, gender or sexual identity.
