SBS catches up to ABC, with both broadcasters getting 11.3% of weekly TV audience
The two government-funded broadcasters, ABC and SBS, finished the week with an 11.3% audience share, according to OzTAM’s overnight metro ratings.
Traditionally, SBS finishes behind the ABC in share, however Australia’s outing at the 2018 FIFA World Cup – as well as the additional games the broadcaster was gifted in the wake of Optus’ streaming debacle – have given it a higher portion of the audience.
