SCA announces regional promotions

At SCA, Blair Woodcock has been promoted to head of regional content and Gold Coast general manager; Nick Unger is now head of sales for regional NSW and Queensland.

SCA today announced the promotions of Blair Woodcock to head of regional content and Gold Coast general manager and Nick Unger to head of sales regional NSW & QLD. These strategic leadership appointments will strengthen SCA’s regional leadership team and bring a wealth of experience to drive operational excellence and strengthen the company’s capabilities across the region.

With over 25 years experience in broadcasting, Woodcock remains focussed on content outcomes across regional Australia as head of regional content, a position he has held since 2021. He now adds general manager Gold Coast to his remit. A native Queenslander, Woodcock brings respected content and leadership credentials to the Gold Coast.

Blair Woodcock said: “After 17 years with SCA, I’ve always held 90.9 SEA FM and 92.5 TRIPLE M GOLD in the highest regard. These stations are more than just radio — they’re part of the Gold Coast’s heartbeat, as integral as the beaches and skyline, delivering unforgettable content and building deep community connections.

As head of regional sales for NSW & Queensland, Unger will oversee strategy, planning and execution for radio, television and digital media across both states, building on his success in NSW.

A highly experienced sales professional with over 15 years in the industry, since joining SCA as Head of TV Sales in Sydney in 2020, Unger has built a strong performing team across multiple markets and platforms, delivering consistent revenue growth in a complex and competitive environment. Prior to joining SCA, Unger spent a decade at Nine Entertainment Co. most recently as Group Business Manager.
