Screen Australia funds four Indigenous film-makers

Screen Australia has provided four Indigenous filmmakers with $25,000 funding to develop their feature film scripts.

The announcement:

Four Indigenous filmmakers will receive $25,000 each to enable them to develop their feature film scripts to the next level on the pathway to production readiness, Screen Australia announced today.

The funding is provided through the Screen Australia Indigenous Department’s Long Black Feature program, a strategic initiative aimed at encouraging and supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to author and craft outstanding feature stories for the big-screen.
