Ten to air Biggest Loser finale live despite lunchtime slot
Ten will stick with its planned live season final of troubled weight loss show The Biggest Loser: Transformed despite the show being shifted to a lunchtime schedule after a poor ratings performance.
The return of The Biggest Loser came after a 12-month hiatus during which the show underwent a a transformation which saw the departure of trainers Michelle Bridges and Steve ‘Commando’ Willis.
The Biggest Loser: Transformed was hosted by Fiona Falkiner with trainers Shannan Ponton and Libby Babet seeing a group of Australians tackling “relatable weight issues and undergoing transformations of their bodies and minds”.
Put the finally on at a night time slot
I really enjoyed The Biggest Loser Transformed, especially the cooking segments
Its very hard to find what time the episodes are going to be televised
thank goodness I can record the shows and watch them of a night time
It was extremely hard to find out when the finale was being shown, so ridiculous at 11am
300 thousand people watching the show is not nobody. I nearly missed it completely not realising where the show had gone till my husband just happened to notice it at 1pm. I thought it was the repeat as that is what usually happened last year. I enjoy and like to watch it for the health and exercise tips and the changes in mindset of the contestants give hope to others in the same situation which is growing rapidly. As ususal things are only ever about money not helping people. As soon as a few dollars go down valuable things are lost. The food segments the mental health segments etc were valuable. I was very disappointed and if it weren’t for catch up t.v. would have missed episodes. It blows my mind that Goggle box and Are you paying attention got awards it shows that people really aren’t watching t.v. but on their mobiles maybe. Both shows I tuned into for about 5 minutes to see what the fuss was about and turned them off through boredom.
I have been able to watch on Tenplay but today the episode was 9 mins, what happened? There was still a lot of people tuning in. Hopefully we will see a finale but will it be Monday?
I could never relate to the previous biggest loser shows so never watched them. This one was great and it related to people before they got to the serious morbidly obese stage. It failed because it was put up against shows that were immensely popular with a certain demographic and that had the shock factor. Non of which were better than BLT just better marketed and because of the content were often in the press. The sad thing is it could have helped a lot of people and with more publicity given time could have picked up in ratings. Congratulations to everyone involved in the show especially the two trainers it was a great show.
