Senior Clemenger Group executive Kim Boehm takes new role in search for new talent
The Melbourne-based executive chairman of Clemenger Group, Kim Boehm, will head the company’s search for new blood in the new role of head of talent management and marketing.
Clemenger chairman Rob Morgan announced the move this afternoon as he acknowledged the recruitment, and retention of staff, was becoming increasingly tough.
“We have always prided ourselves on having an unfair share of the best talent, but it’s no secret that it’s getting harder and harder to find, attract and keep the best people,” he said.
People used to say “Clems is a nice place to work if your parents can afford to send you there”.
Both in Melbourne and in the old boy firmament that IS Adelaide, Clems used to rein supreme in nepotism and cronyism.
So reading this is a laugh.
Ironically the only other agency where old boy connections are its life force is KWP.
Clems…the industry has moved on. Yes you’ve had your unfair share of talent. The way you procured them and client relationships is probably the unfair bit.
