Sev Celik and Melinda Petrunoff shift to new roles at Fairfax Metro Media

Fairfax has created more new roles within its Metro Media division, and continues to fill them with internal appointments.

National magazine sales director Sev Celik (pictured) has been appointed director of creative solutions, and Melinda Petrunoff, projects director at Fairfax Digital, will be moving into the role of sales director, products and audiences.

The creative solutions team is responsible for generating insights into advertising categories and providing clients with solutions that span Fairfax Media’s assets. Celik has been tasked to re-structure and realign this group.

The products and audiences team is geared to pull together groups of specialist sales and product managers responsible for specific verticals such as business, sport, travel and entertainment.

Both  new appointments will report to Metro Media commercial director Ed Harrison.

Harrison said: “Throughout the selection process it’s been gratifying to see the immense talent that exists across our business. I’m delighted to be able to fill both of these critical roles with internal candidates.”
