Seven cashes in on MasterChef popularity
The new reality cooking show, My Kitchen Rules, which Seven hopes will rival Ten’s MasterChef, will be judged by celebrity chefs Peter Evans and Manu Feildel.
Both are established TV personalities, with Evans having appeared on Nine’s Fresh and as a guest judge on MasterChef, while Feildel has been on Ready Steady Cook.
My Kitchen Rules, an original Seven production from the makers of My Restaurant Rules, will search the country to find the best home cooks who can successfully transform regular Aussie homes into instant restaurants for one night.
My next door neighbours are on this (mother and daughter), a film crew were at their house from 9am to after midnight a few months back…

Also, the lack of photoshopping in that image is a bit painful.
its also a calculated to move to tire out the genre. Over-exposure of amateur cooking shows now means less viewers for masterchef later
