Seven claims total people win for the year but Nine dominates Sunday evening
Seven has won the total people ratings for the ninth year in a row, but rival Nine has performed best across the demographics.
Network Seven’s win last week in the ratings gave it the top spot for the year, with three weeks to go of the official ratings period.
However Nine managed a win in both total people and the demographics on Sunday, with The Block and cricket leading the way with the renovation show claiming 1.355m viewers as it reaches its climax.
Australia’s dominance against New Zealand also drew decent audiences across the weekend, with Sunday’s first session from 10.30am AESDT watched by 651,000, session two from 1.40pm watched by 707,000 and the rain-hit third session watched by 842,000.
