Seven Communications wins competitive pitch for Tomra’s account

Following a competitive pitch process, boutique agency Seven Communications has been appointed by Tomra Collection Solutions Australia, the company behind ‘reverse vending machines’ allowing containers to be deposited for a 10 cent refund per item.

The first project Seven has worked on is a drought and bushfire recycling appeal called Bottles for the Bush, which will see people encouraged to donate their 10 cent refunds to Rural Aid via the vending machines. Since its launch two weeks ago, $60,000 of the $250,000 goal (to be reached by February 2020) has been donated.

The account’s remit will include ‘always on’ activity and campaigns aimed at increasing participation in the recycling initiative.
