Seven cruises to Friday night win with 23% audience share
Seven’s news, entertainment and sport line-up on Friday night helped it to secure a 23% primary channel share, well ahead of Nine’s 17.7%, Ten’s 10.5%, ABC’s 10.1% and SBS’ 5%.
The most-watched program of the evening was Seven News, which pulled 922,000 metro viewers, while Better Homes and Gardens had 592,000. The AFL was also a big draw card for the broadcaster.
The match between Port Adelaide Power and the North Melbourne Kangaroos was broadcast on Seven’s primary channel in Melbourne and Adelaide.
