Seven’s Big Bash League debut draws in 649,000 viewers
Last night Seven debuted its first episode of the Big Bash League as the Adelaide Strikers beat Brisbane Heat by five wickets.
For the first match since winning the broadcast rights to the Big Bash League in April, 649,000 metro viewers tuned in to Seven to watch the innings break, while 614,000 watched the second session.
Hands up if you’re happy to kick off #BBL08 with a win ?♂️
So far not as good as channel 10’s presentation. Seems to be a longer delay in getting the game started. I am not a fan of Michael Slater. Disappointed to see him moving from channel 9 to 7. Even more disapointed to hear him on the Big Bash. The man suffers from verbal diarrhoea, and has a very annoying voice.
Not impressed with the two bigheaded commentators on BBL tonight,
(after the game) One of the three had departed. Were the Hobart Hurricanes the only team playing this game?
