Seven dominates Tuesday night ratings; Packed to the Rafters tops 1.8m
Another strong Tuesday for Seven saw the station occupy four of the top five highest-rating shows, and increase its share of viewers to 28.9%.
Seven’s Packed to the Rafters and My Kitchen Rules were the first and second most-watched shows, with the former exceeding 1.8m viewers, according to preliminary overnight ratings from OzTam.
Nine and Ten were almost dead level, with 18.6% and 18.4% share, respectively. Ten’s Talkin’ Bout Your Generation had a good night, up from 0.839m last week to 1.067m last night. But ratings for Nine’s The Big Bang Theory fell heavily, from 0.918m to 0.614.
In the battle at breakfast time, the early showing of Nine’s Today recorded a rare victory over Seven’s Sunrise, pulling in 0.21m viewers (Sunrise drew 0.167m). However, Sunrise still leads the morning time in total viewers between 6:00-9:00am.
From these figures it appears that 9 & 10 are closer to the ABC’s figures than they are to 7’s. Whats going on? (ABC is my preferred channel)
