Seven has easy Saturday night win as ABC beats Ten

Seven won the ratings battle on Saturday with a 20.7% audience share, ahead of Nine’s 16.6%.

ABC placed third overall, thanks to a 14.2% share and SBS and Ten tied with 6.0% each, according to OzTAM’s overnight preliminary metro ratings.

The ABC had the most programs in the top 10 with ABC News in third (731,000 metro viewers), Father Brown in fourth (710,000), The Good Karma Hospital in fifth (796,000) and Gardening Australia in seventh (406,000) – but Seven had the most-watched program of the evening, with Seven News pulling 858,000 metro viewers.
