Seven is launching a fourth multi-channel to supplement 7mate, 7flix and 7Two: 7food network.
7food network will launch on channel 74 and 7Plus on December 1, and will feature 24/7 coverage of shows related to cooking, culture, travel and adventure.

This will be an interesting experiment in cross-promotion. How much greater success will this channel have as part of Seven rather than SBS?

This is an quite interesting commercial decision made by Seven network. Most of these programs have already been played out on high repeat on SBS Food Network (now known as SBS Food) over the past three years.

In the age of giant TV screens and high quality HD & 4K streaming, many people I know refuse to watch standard definition FTA TV (particularly my kids!).
I just don’t know how Seven can cram a seventh channel into their limited bandwidth without making things borderline unwatchable.
I live in Perth and none of my television sets can pick up 74 since it’s launch, any reason
