Seven wins quiet Friday night on TV with no shows passing 1m metro viewers

Seven was top of the ratings leaderboard on Friday night thanks largely to its news and lifestyle offering, with no shows surpassing 1m metro viewers.

The most-watched program of the evening was Seven News at 6pm with 915,000 metro viewers, according to OzTAM’s overnight preliminary metro ratings. 

Nine News was not far behind with 900,000, and the second half-hour of Seven News/Today Tonight had 857,000. The second half of Nine News came in at fourth position with 835,000.
