Seven wins Sunday while Sunrise eats Today for breakfast
It was Seven’s Sunday in the TV ratings, with the network pulling in the top three shows and its breakfast lineup winning by a margin it could only dream of on weekdays.
Seven News, with nearly 1.5m viewers, was the most watched show of Sunday night, according to preliminary ratings from OzTam.
Meanwhile Nine’s sci-fi miniseries V made a solid enough debut with nearly 1.3m viewers.
And while Nine’s weekday Today show has been breathing down Sunrise’s neck, particularly while the Olympics was on, there was no contest on Sunday.
I’m actually stunned that more than 50% of the population still allegedly watch the great triumvirate of Channels Sad, Dead and Kid.
More than 50% of the tv watching population do. Not ‘the population’.
