Seven’s Janeen Faithfull appointed CEO of Southern Star

Television production company Southern Star has appointed a new CEO after the resignation of Rory Callaghan in January.

Janeen Faithfull, currently head of content and rights management at Seven, will take Callaghan’s place at the Endemol-owned company.

Faithfull comes to Southern Star with 28 years of experience in the TV industry and 15 years at Seven.

In her role as head of content rights management at Seven, Faithfull was responsible for IP across all platforms, domestically and internationally. Faithfull had been in the role at Seven since 2009.
