Seven’s Mega Mini Golf rebranded to Holey Moley as Greg Norman comes on board
Seven’s ‘Mega Mini Golf’ will go to air as Holey Moley, the same name the program sports in the US.
In addition, Australian golf legend Greg Norman has signed on, taking the lead as ‘resident golf pro’.

‘Mega Mini Golf’ was announced at the Seven upfronts in October 2019.
Is the new Holey Moley in partnership with the mini golf centre, Holey Moley (under the Strike brand)? Or are they going to face opposition from them?
I believe Fun-Lab (the owners of Holey Moley Trademark) took the makers of the US program through Trademark litigation mid 2019 and have made a tidy sum through back royalties of the advertising revenue.
More than likely it’s just taken time to agree to an amount/revenue share to use the brand name for the show here. Fun-Lab would be crazy to block it. Imagine getting paid with prime viewing time brand exposure. It’s a win all round for them.
Not a chance in hell BT is the right host for this. The beauty of this show is the tongue in cheek execution, BT doesn’t have the subtlety for this – chalk it up as another Seven disaster.
Hardly appealing to young demos unless they want to attract 65+
