Seven’s The Single Wives premieres with just 375,000 viewers
375,000 metro viewers tuned in last night at 7.30pm to the premiere of Seven’s latest dating show The Single Wives.
Hosted by radio presenter Fifi Box, the dating show features four women on a mission to find a new partner with advice from dating expert Matthew Hussey. On its first episode, The Single Wives didn’t make it into the top shows for the key 16-39, 18-49 and 25-54 advertising demographics.

Is anyone really surprised that the 37th dating show to be released in the last 3 years isn’t a raging success?
My partner and I caught a little of it last night at around 8pm. Aside from finding the talent, hosts and format being largely annoying and unoriginal, I found the F bomb delivered straight down the barrel pretty crass at that hour; unnecessary and almost desperate.
I’m a pretty liberal minded, live and let the f-bomb live kind of guy, I understand the target audience etc, and I’m not that old – but I voted tout suite with the switch and noped right out of there.
Hope they all live happily ever after and find true love etc and I never hear or see anything much more about it.
This show is just gross.
