Seven’s US drama The Good Doctor out rates local reality shows Date Night and Hughesy, We Have a Problem

American drama The Good Doctor attracted more viewers than locally produced programs in the later time slot of last night’s TV ratings, achieving 838,000 metro viewers at 9:00pm.

Seven’s program tells the story of a young autistic surgeon with Savant Syndrome, dominated the later time slot, while Ten’s Hughesy, We Have a Problem, which ran at 8:30pm and Nine’s Date Night, which ran at 9pm, attracted 459,000 and 442,000 metro viewers respectively.


The biggest audiences for Seven’s The Good Doctor and Nine’s Date Night were in Sydney, but Ten’s Hughesy, We Have a Problem, attracted more Melbourne viewers.
