Seven’s The Wall defeats Nine’s Family Food Fight
Seven’s premiere of new game show The Wall was the most-watched entertainment program of the night, achieving almost 1m metro viewers and beating new Nine cooking show Family Food Fight and Ten’s All-Star Family Feud.
The show, which was filmed in Poland and hosted by Axle Whitehead, averaged 974,000 metro viewers on its first night on air, while Family Food Fight captured a metro audience of 614,000.
Family Food Fight was awkward. The casting of the contestants was better than the casting for the judges. Why on earth were the judges watching the contestants on a TV screen? Why could they not be in a room with the contestants? Why was there no chemistry between the judges? By 8.15pm I had tuned out.
Watched the Wall; complicated rules, easy questions and lacklustre host. Got bored and turned over. Surprised by Food fight though. Interesting families and made me hungry too. On a night that #mediadiversity was trending, great to see diversity so prominent on commercial FTA.
Family food fight on 9 it was good to watch last night for the first time on 9 I can give it 8 out of 10 for the show
Family food fight was amazing, love the contestants, the judges, it was on air at a good time and great to watch with the family! 10/10 I was hooked! Nine, make more shows like this! ?
