Shintaro!
Madman gave us copies of Shintaro! a documentary about the samurai sensation that swept a nation and recently aired on SBS.
Shintaro! looks back at the 1960s Japanese TV show that exposed a generation of children to new world of adventure and created controversy about its potential cultural impact on Australian kids. The show made its lead actor a super star as big as The Beatles, or at least for those who lived the samurai craze of 1964.
