Finally, SKY News launches a nightly comedy program!. About time SKY News started branching out into new program genres! Producing just news and news commentary was rather restricting to the growth of SKY News.

Bolt and Paul Murray are truly the prime idiots of the media. Not a critical thought between them. They do provide great examples though of how not to approach an intellectual debate.

The reason the Bolt Report failed to reappear was because Bolt was tired of working 7-days a week. Assuming Nic Christensen is not a big Bolt fan? Can’t even get balance on Mumbrella. Not as bad as #theirABC so there’s that I guess.

This actually made me laugh out loud. I literally laughed out loud. Who in their right mind would want to watch this five nights per week? It would be pretty easy to programme though: climate change isn’t real, the ABC is out of control, safe schools is dangerous, the refugees are coming to get us, Pell is the real victim and intellectual commentary with someone from the Australian. Stick a fork in my eye now!

Hey Mike Ryan – take a seat, in fact take several. Seven days a week he works – poor diddums. Nic C is completely fair and balanced in his reporting – so get your facts straight. The ABC isn’t bad either. I’m gathering you only get your news from The Australian, because of how balanced it is in its coverage of Australia. #takeaseatmike

So play the ball hey… maybe his denial of climate change, or his attacks on indigenous Australians. There’s a start. Or maybe the way he revs up the racists – just look at the comments on his blog. It’s like every stupid idea finds its way into his head. But I’m sure he’s a really good, rational, intelligent person.

Sad how the Left cry babies cant cope with the very few conservative commentaries. They have just about every bloody newspaper and the ABC….. cant we have our small share. But then again….. its the increasing left “shut down any alternatives” that we see more frequently on the streets and campuses all around Australia.

It will be interesting to see how Bolt copes with the workload of writing for News Corp while appearing on TV five nights a week. But then as he appears to just make stuff up as he goes along he will probably only be working an hour a day.

Cancelling my Foxtel subscription last year was a very good decision it seems.

I can watch the actual Fox News online if I want to be fed that sort of dross.

Under the ABC charter they employ journalists who have to report facts, rather than commentators with opinion pieces.

Bolt doesn’t realise that he is becoming over exposed – 2GB, his blog and now TV. He already has a weakness for repeating himself and this habit will catch up with him, thus making him a media bore.

Well Bolt has already had a win, just by this announcement he has got up the noses of all the lefty brainwashed sheep.

Just because people question and use reason in their arguments, does not necessarily mean they are ‘lefty’. Julia Gillard is an example of a politician, who is slightly right of centre, yet I am sure you would lable her a ‘lefty’ or even ‘leftist’.

Now, if people sit in front of dear Mr Bolt and believe everything he says, without evidence, nor reason, well you tell me who the sheep are?

Anyone that uses the word ‘lefty’or ‘leftist’ can just be ignored. They will have nothing of value to add to any discussion.

Political, you raise a good point.

But, if you flip your logic, you could say:

(a) this person asks questions, does their background research, and develops a cogent position or argument .. then the chances are they are more likely to be from the left-side of politics, whereas

(b) this person recites simplistic dogma, doesn’t do their own cross-checking, hones in on a single factoid that ‘supports’ their dogma or quite simply ignores the facts altogether, then recites it ad-nauseum while denigrating anyone who dares to disagree, then rejoices that ‘the lefties are up in arms’ as some sort of vindication of their dogma … then the chances are they are more likely to be from the right-side of politics.

@Dmans5, have you watched Bolt or Jones on QandA? When they are they play to that audience well.

At last we going to have a true and honest opinion from Andrew Bolt, I never missed watching him on channel 10, I was sick of the left leaning ABC tv and every program on other channels were all the leftie luvvies.. thank goodness Sky News is giving us back a little bit of democracy and a fair crack of the whip.

The only comedy we have had is the Rudd and Gillard show and its going the same way with the Turnbull saga..not happy……. you see that you can look at things with two eyes and not one.

After reading your article in Thursday’s Courier today my son Andrew (deceased June 2017) would be cheering from above as he was always placing comments on the green’s website and arguing with them in the street where he lived in New Farm. They constantly accost people and try to force their views upon others. He was eventually banned from placing comments on their website. This says it all. Cheers Helen.

I consider myself right wing and have been watching The Bolt Report for some time. But, due to the dropkicks he has as guests on his ‘Panel’ segment (Steven Conroy for example) I have been switching off.

But after last night’s segment on the Richmond Football Club and Dustin Martin, Andrew Bolt has lost two viewers of his show…………..full time.

Bolt was pathetically condescending and grovelling towards Matin and my wife and I couldn’t bear to watch the segment through to the end. I am aware that Bolt is a Richmond supporter and last night he carried on just like the YES voters of SSM have been performing.

Goodbye Bolt.

I wish we could get a Prime Minister with Andrew Bolts decency. I don’t know how anyone can watch these snarling rabid sickos attacking police at the Milo meetings and call the mild mannered Andrew Bolt right wing. I also don’t get why the police have to let things get so out of hand before moving in. Surely when they’re mingling and carrying their signs shows intent. Also police are on a wage so I don’t know how Milo should pay Melbourne police wouldn’t that constitute soliciting for a bribe?

It was disappointing to see Mr. Bolt talking about the tragic murder of a young woman who decided to walk through a deserted park during the early hours of the morning. So many other media outlets had covered the story….ad nauseum. I am in my late 70’s and would never ever had considered walking through a park on my own after dark, let alone after midnight!

Women these days are constantly reminded of the dangers of walking out on their own after dark and in particular late at night. Having a mobile phone is no guarantee that you will not be attacked.

What is of a major concern is the number of car accidents which occur every day, and which receives little attention in the media. Hundreds of people are killed and seriously injured every day……..all of absolutely no fault of their own. Where are the flowers and outpouring of grief for them?!

It would be refreshing if Mr. Bolt addressed so many of the other problems and issues facing our world today instead of just reporting on the stories from the popular press.

i want to know why when watching sky free to air news channel 53 any right wing programs have total interference & pixilation whilst there is no interference on the lefty programs.. I have just watched Bolt with nearly the full hour of interference & pixilation..now watching Richardson for 24mins & not one interference & totally clear picture–are the loopy left ensuring we don’t see the right point of view-again… interesting..anyone else have the same issue????????

Having just updated to an HD TV my wife and I now enjoy getting Sky News on the far sth coast of NSW. We appreciate your calm and balanced views and questions raised that the Left would prefer ignored. Keep up the great work and thanks to Sky for presenting sensible commentators such as AJ & Peta, Paul M and others.
