Social media sales house closes Australian operation
Adknowledge, a global social network ad sales house which employes five people locally, is closing its Australian operation after three years in business.
The company, which serves ads for platforms such as Facebook and Bebo, is now looking for a third-party sales house through which to operate. An announcement is expected next week.
Among those leaving the company are commercial director Marion Knobloch and advertising account manager Rachel Smith, who is joining online ad network Adconian.
Adknowledge is among the largest ad networks for social applications, with 10 billion impressions per month globally and half a billion per month in Australia.
Is Marion’s surname a wind-up?
