Sony and Yahoo!7 partner in content distribution agreement

Sony Pictures Television will distribute its content online through Yahoo!7 in a new partnership agreement.

The announcement:

Yahoo!7 and Sony Pictures Television today announced that they have agreed to enter into a commercial partnership that will see Sony Pictures Television content distributed through Yahoo!7’s catch-up TV service, PLUS7. This deal follows on the heels of the partnership announcement between Yahoo!7 and Sony Computer Entertainment in August that PLUS7 content would be available to PlayStation 3 users.

This new arrangement will provide Yahoo!7’s audience with access to shows such as Larry Sanders Show, Get Smart, The Jeff Foxworthy Show, Ned and Stacey, The Dana Carvey Show, Dilbert and Just Shoot Me. In total nearly 100 hours of archive content will be available over the next twelve months.
