Southern Cross Austereo dominates in Perth

Southern Cross Austereo’s (SCA) Mix94.5 remains Perth’s highest rating station in the last ratings survey of 2011, according to Nielson figures out today.

With a drop from 16.6% share to 15.1%, Mix still holds a convincing lead across the Monday to Sunday share, with fellow SCA station 92.9FM, part of the Today Network, in second place with a gain from 11.2% to 12.6%.

The ABC’s youth network, Triple J maintains a strong share in Perth with growth from 9.5% to 10.3%.

In the breakfast race, Mix’s The Bunch with Fred, Lisa and Captain Paul saw a drop from 15.9% to 14.3%  to slip into second place behind ABC720’s Eoin Cameron who saw a lesser drop from 15% to 14.5%. 92.9FM placed third with 11.8% share, up from 10.7%
