Southern Cross Austereo implements more staff stand-downs to reduce costs
Media network Southern Cross Austereo (SCA), responsible for brands including 2Day FM, Triple M and the Hit Network, is making further changes to its workforce in the wake of COVID-19.
The company has already implemented 10% pay cuts for those earning over $68,000 per year. In addition, the company will now reduce staff hours and stand employees down.
CEO Grant Blackley told Mumbrella the situation was difficult for everybody.

I can see another massive re-structure when this is all over…
In the 90’s “Southern Cross Network” now Southern Cross Austereo we’re in the same position. Share price was below ten cents and they had no plan on how to re-build & grow the business! The board worked this out belatedly and sacked the entire “C” team. Tony Bell from 3AW was put in charge and the recovery of the company started.
It’s time to begin again!
