Southern Cross Austereo’s ASX surge proves to be one day wonder
Wednesday’s market positivity around Southern Cross Austereo was short lived. After rising by 3.8% on the revelation of solid audio numbers alongside poor TV numbers, SCA lost 4.4% today to land on a market capitalisation of $308m.

It was a similar story across the broadcast sector with ARN Media losing another 3.3% to hit yet another all-time low market capitalisation of just under $110m. Nine lost 1.7%.

While the wider ASX All Ordinaries was flat on Thursday, the Unmade Index closed down 1.61% for the day, on 434.4 points.
Vinyl Group’s market cap is more than ARN?
That’s crazy when you step back and think about it.
