Southern Cross takes a hammering as Unmade Index slide continues

The session was dominated by selling across most of the index, with the big names mostly down. News Corp fell 0.66%, Nine eased 1.33%, Ooh Media slipped 0.76% and Ive was down 0.35%.

It was Southern Cross Seven (that’s not the official name but we think a reminder is appropriate) that bore the brunt, falling 5.33%.

ARN was also down 3.90% and Vinyl — which bucked the trend yesterday on good news — was down 3.37%, while Enero edged lower, down 0.78%.

Offsetting that weakness, there were a handful of risers but they were fewer and smaller in number: Pureprofile rose 4.08%, GTN was up 3.51% and Motio lifted 1.96%, not enough to change the overall tone, which remained firmly negative.
