Sphere PR wins Voyager Travel Corporation

Voyager Travel Corporation has appointed Sphere PR to handle its public relations.  Sphere has also appointed David Neiger to the role of  Melbourne account director.

The announcement:

Sphere Public Relations, an Australian boutique PR consultancy specialising in technology and travel is pleased to welcome Voyager Travel Corporation to its portfolio of clients. Voyager Travel Corporation is one of Australia’s leading privately owned independent travel management companies that prides itself on its service delivery, experience and innovation.

“We look forward to working closely with such a high calibre client as Voyager and helping them widen their sphere of influence by strengthening their brand presence, corporate messages and media relationships,” said Louise Roberts, Managing Director of Sphere Public Relations.

Sphere Public Relations and its team of consultants have worked with the travel industry for many years in Australia and the UK. “Some of our current and past clients include ConTgo, TravelSIM, PinkPassport.co.uk, Serena Lodges and Hotels and World Travel Market so we bring considerable travel industry experience to the relationship. We are delighted to have won Voyager Travel, particularly since we came so highly recommended by a current travel technology client George Freney, Director of Strategy and Business Development for ConTgo.”

Voyager’s extensive use of the very latest technology is also an excellent fit with Sphere PR’s technology practice and its corporate culture of only employing experienced consultants and delivering clients outstanding value also aligns perfectly with the PR firm’s business philosophy.

“I am convinced that Sphere PR is the best fit for our organisation as we move forward and grow, because we share the same business ethos of striving to provide clients with both experience and value. We believe Sphere is the only PR agency in Australia with both travel and technology credentials, which is exactly what we require,” said Richard Savva, CEO of Voyager Travel Corporation.

Sphere Public Relations’ point of difference is that it does not employ juniors and only engages Public Relations professionals at Account Director level and above, who are able to work directly with our clients from day one.

The Voyager Travel Corporation account will be headed up by Louise Roberts, supported by former journalist David Neiger who is based in Melbourne. “I’d like to welcome David Neiger, who will be joining Sphere PR as an Account Director in Melbourne to better service our Victorian client base including Voyager Travel and digital agency Reactive initially,” concluded Roberts.
