Star Observer will continue to publish thanks to acquisition by Out Publications

Australia’s longest running LGBTIQ+ publication, Star Observer, has been saved from closure by an acquisition from Out Publications.

The title was forced into voluntary administration last month, with the blame placed on “an unexpected slowdown in our advertising clients paying their bills”.
