Subaru XV ad sees old and new models descend on mobile carwash
A procession of old and new Subaru models converge on a mobile carwash in an ad to introduce the Japanese car maker’s new XV cross-over model to Australia.
Shot over four days by ad agency Disciple, the ad features 26 Subaru models, current and past, such as Possum Bourne’s Australian Championship winning rally car and a classic 1958 Subaru 360.
The spot was directed by Revolver’s Bruce Hunt.

Look, this is pretty bloody good for Subaru. Finally they have the guts to acknowledge their (good) past. But why are voice overs so crap in Australia?

Why don’t Subaru take on the Land Rover Defender? They would make an awesome, true 4×4. I would buy it. I wouldn’t by this orange focus looking thing…
