Sudeep Gohil out as Comms Council chair with Jaimes Leggett named interim replacement

Former Droga5 CEO Sudeep Gohil has been replaced as chairman of the Communications Council by M&C Saatchi’s Jaimes Leggett after parting ways with the agency earlier this month.

Leggett will take on the role on an interim basis until the industry body’s annual general meeting next May when an election will take place.

It was announced earlier this year that Droga5 was being shut in Sydney with founder David Droga saying the office “no longer consistently represents the brand”. While the office does not shut formally until the end of the year Gohil has laready left and is now working with a startup called Tyde.
