Sunday Night scores big as House Husbands stays strong
Seven’s Sunday Night had a big night in the ratings last night winning the evening and rating more than 300,000 above last week’s show.
Last night’s episode of the current affairs show included a segment on the debilitating sleep-related diseases Narcolepsy and Cataplexy.
Across the five city metro market the show, airing at 6:30pm, rated 1.668m, according to preliminary ratings from OzTam.In the three key advertising demographics the show was fourth in 16-39, third in 18-49 and third in 25-54.

Those Sunday Night figures must be making Sixty Minutes nervous. That program’s been punching above its weight for some time with meatier stories than Nine’s flagship show. Remember Sixty Minutes had the Olympics to build its brand but the Sunday Night program has if anything jumped in popularity despite the Olympics. Wonder if it’s a lot to do with the way they value a good story – and don’t maketheir reporters the most important thing in the story. They’ve got some fabulous reporters on the SEven show too.. Interesting that many of their staff helping them win the battle against Sixty used to work at Nine anyway! If I was David Gyngell I’d be very very nervous.
That’s great News for channel 7 and my story about Narcolepsy. Well done guys! 🙂
