Sunrise weatherman Sam Mac sings a love song to accountants on behalf of Xero

Sunrise weatherman Sam Mac has composed a love song on behalf of accounting software provider Xero to recognise the work they are about to put in to help clients navigate the complicated 2020 tax season.

Mac, whose full name is Sam McMillan, makes reference to the federal government’s Job Seeker and Job Keeper stimulus programs and being stuck on hold with the Australian Tax Office.

Mac often performs comical songs he has written on social media and during his live crosses on Sunrise. His children’s song, Half Man, Half Cat became a collaboration with The Wiggles.
