Super funds push for law change on employers

Australia’s not-for-profit super funds have launched a push aimed at capitalising on public outrage over the finding of the Hayne banking inquiry to tighten up laws around how employers pay super.

Industry Super Australia has urged politicians to make legislative change and force employers to pay superannuation at the same time they pay wages.

In a campaign which has launched just a week after the findings of the Banking Royal Commission, Industry Super highlights the statistic Australians that one in three people are owed superannuation.
