SxSW launches Australian information sessions

The Australian representatives for the annual South By South West festival in Austin, Texas, will be running two ‘meet and greet’ events in Sydney and Melbourne next week for prospective attendees to next year’s conference.

Greets, I want to get the word out to the advertising, marketing, fintech and allied industries for a set of two free SXSW Meet ’n’ Greet events in Sydney August at 5:30 (Lansdowne Hotel, cnr Broadway & City Road) and Melbourne the following night August 2 at 5:30 (Corner Hotel, 57 Swan Street, Richmond)
 We have four speakers each night who are sharing over 50 years of SXSW experience and advice from 6pm to 8pm, two each who are interactive veterans and two whoa re more music centric.  We’ve invited veteran attendees who’ll no doubt supply their own tips and techniques for navigationg and surviving SXSW for the novices.

They’ll be sharing strategic secrets of success at SXSW by forward planning, communications and networking advancing and on-the-ground techniques for bypassing the chaos of 80,000 other delegates.  Australia sent 750 attendees in 2017 of which 60% were Interactive or Platinum (attending all four festivals and the conference), 30% were Music delegates, 5% Film and 5% Other (often people who bought a badge to have highest level of entry to everything though not working).

Early registration entitles you to the closest CBD access and lowest prices for hotels. Over a third of our attendees register first week.
Early bird registration rates are US$825 for Interactive, Film and Music Badges, US$1150 for Platinum Badge throughSept 2.
