Sydney radio ratings: Alan Jones extends lead in breakfast with 19% share
2GB breakfast host Alan Jones has extended his lead in breakfast, up 2.1 points this survey to a 19% share.
During the survey period, which ran from July 15 to September 22, Jones made national headlines for his use of the ‘n’ word live on air in late August and the loss of the defamation case bought against him by the Toowoomba-based Wagner family.

Clearly this shows an increasing right-wing make-up of Sydney’s radio listening audience.
Why?
The response to years of falsehoods put forward by the likes of soon to be defunct The SMH and The Age – despite the ‘merger’ with Nine – and the problems at, and increasing public distaste for, the ABC’s never ending, Leftist agenda advocacy?
Postscript to Fairfax problems. What could possibly go wrong with a news organisation that runs a story in their health section entitled: ‘Should you have sex if your children are in the room?’ (Screenshot available).

Very amusing to say the least.
19% share? I find it horrifying that even 19 people would listen to him.
You don’t listen to him because you know he’s spot on!!
Am I missing something?
With all the time, cost and effort that has gone into re branding 2ue its ratings have dropped from 5.1% in 2015 to 0.6% in the current rating period!
Comments have been made about the increase in ratings for 2GB however when the drop in ratings of 2UE are taken into account has there been any nett gain for the two sister stations.
The interstate stations have also dropped.
Maybe I am missing something!
