Sydney radio ratings: Kiis’ Will and Woody take drive-time crown
Kiis 106.5 in Sydney is the new drive-time leader in radio, with the FM station securing a share of 9.7% in the 4pm to 7pm slot.
This puts Will McMahon and Woody Whitelaw (Will and Woody) ahead of previous leaders 2GB, which slipped from 9.8% last survey to 8.5% this time around.
On 2GB in Sydney, Ben Fordham is on air from 3pm to 6pm, with Ross Greenwood’s Money News taking over from 6pm. Greenwood is not returning to radio next year, with Brooke Courte announced this morning as his replacement.
How can every commercial drive show lose share while basically 702, ABC Classic and the ABC news stations are the only winners? That doesn’t seem to make any sense!
A. Superior content.
ABC 702 is hardly superior lol..
They get beaten in nearly every timeslot by 2GB.
Kyle & Jackie O (Kiis) & Alan Jones (2GB) also both consistently beat Robbie Buck on ABC 702 also.
Dear Sir or Madam,
How is this survey measured?
I have never received a survey to do radio survey.
I think review from Media Minister needs to happened
REGARDS Maurice
Hi Maurice,
People fill out diaries (either paper or online) throughout the year.
You can read more about the methodology, and the demographic breakdown of those involved, here:
