Sydney radio ratings: Kyle & Jackie O pushes Nine’s Fordham off his perch as talkback flattens

KIIS1065’s Kyle & Jackie O has pushed Nine’s Ben Fordham off from the top breakfast spot, despite 2GB retaining its #1 spot overall in Sydney, and losing listeners in the seventh radio ratings survey of 2022.

In breakfast, Kyle & Jackie O topped this survey, thanks to its increase in listeners, bumping up by a significant 2.1 percentage points to 14.9%. Nine’s Fordham saw a fairly decent drop in listeners, a bump down of 2.1 percentage points to 14.8%.

Doesn’t surprise me that 2GB is flunking in numerous timeslots. Most of their hosts aren’t even real radio presenter’s anymore and very boring. Deb knight, Ben Fordham etc are tv hosts attempting radio with no real radio experience. They will never have the success Chris Smith or Allen Jones had.
I listen to 2SM for TalkBack these days and Kiis FMs Kyle & Jackie O in the morning.

I’m sure he loves the mention Mumbrella, but it’s Byron Webb. You keep calling him Bryan in the last few articles.
